In geography/ social studies education, I focus on developing assessment instruments, data analysis and how the results are and can be used in education. I have developed assessments for diverse learners – from kindergarten students to adults. At the moment, I focus especially on teacher education.
Moreover, I’m very interested in digital media (such as GIS, learning platforms or blogs), but also in hands-on learning, e.g. with models.
My research deals with teacher conceptualizations and beliefs as well as with the question “What makes it into teacher education?”.
In Jewish Studies, I work on Public Judaism.
